Yeah, I'm not sure if this was stated previously but I just want to remind that you must remove all custom maps from CXL2011 if you want to use UIM 1.77.5. Altiris is working on this problem so hopefully you can resume building on those maps soon.

I have this problem:

NOT sure if this is caused by the interface mod, but it might be.

Basically I press go back to planet view, and after that I press syncronise city (to load it again)

Game crashes before even starting loading, just when i press play

I press play on the part in the middle above.

And another thing related to this as well.
When i load the game into planet view, it says no city or city unknown stuff like that , when i click it however it loads the city. But not if I go back to planet view and in the city again.

p.s. the script error is so freaking long!

Hello, I would like to ask if the mod that add building made before UIM will crash with UIM?

It shouldn't crash, however not sure about the two version mods, like the ones by kaaraib, designed both for UIM and non UIM (like this: http://xlnation.net/content/madison-square-garden). If you got normal version, developed the city with it, then replace with UIM one - the game might crash I think.

Ok an update: It seems a problem with UIM and with the UNLOCKED maps that you Altiris putted on Xlnation.
When I go back from the city, the slot on the planet suddenly, (the omnicorp map) along with all other unlocked maps (like glacier and mesas) DISAPPEAR! (so this why I go to load the city, it crashes, the city is missing from the planet after all suddenly)

Even if i try to create a city in this unlocked maps afterwards, it says on the right menu that therere is 0 free slot.

This problem doesnt happen if I just start the game and I see all these slots free on the planet

I had this problem as well, with any new maps that added new slots.

I think there are some very complicated problems with assigning slots and whatnot... I would just avoid building on any custom maps (that add slots) until it gets resolved, otherwise you'll probably have to delete the city and lost the work (like I did).

Gladly I finished it and even made a city journal out of it.

Anyway I wish luck and good work to Altiris.

He made a very good job regardless of the problems that exist.

for the time being I've made all custom maps, compatible with cities XL 2012 only..

I've uploaded a new version, only change is the entire MSI installation will require elevated permissions, not just the execute deferred. this should fix those pesky permission problems with CLM and HEM. Smile
