First! lol.

What's the difference with the two files? or do we need both to run UIM?

Does this mean NEXL is very close to reaching it's release state? Like this month close? Wink

EDIT: You need both files to run UIM.

After starting the game could see the new interface, but when I load a city the game crashes... Sad Puzzled

thanks lmiguel, could you possibly post a screenshot/list of your mods folder? a core file is being overwriten by another mod, I need to find which one.

Great mod so far. Love seeing what NEXL will be bringing to the game when it is released.

Interface looks great, I can see how the team is prepared for RHM, CLM, and more with all the new menu items. Love the transport separation especially the bridge toggle. Pure awesome. Layout is sensible and clean, the thumbnails are easy to understand. Excellent work.

However for the drop down option menu (in the top left with omnicorp, options, exit game etc. buttons). Would it be possible to move the NEXL buttons (avatar, city, planet view buttons) into a new column to the right? I usually play with that menu open so I have quick access to the trade button but with the new options it covers the residential button and the toggle individual placement button.

For me CLM is NOT compatible with UIM. Game CTD when it tries to load.

RHM is fine. Bridges are in the wrong menu (they are under "roads" not "highways" but that is up to pitty to fix.

Harbors XL loads fine.

No other compatibility issues I've noticed. I figure CLM, RHM, and HXL are the big ones anyways.

Did you download both files and place them in the mod folder?

yeah, cool these are the things I'd like to know.
ok, i did move some things like achievements & save into the options menu to make room. but i also then made the CM panel longer.. Wink

sooo, how about a permanent "trade" button on the topbar? then you can leave the menu closed? or I could move avatar/city mode into the options panel also?

sorry about that, I have been working with soltan gris with the CLM menu, and a lot of the CLM script is also in UIM, so it's probably just a matter of removing a file or two from the clm config patch.. I'll take a look

Finally you have upload this mod. This is a very awesome mod and must leave some effect on the community Smile

Also, this mod will be replacing my Orientation Panel for Bridge and Highway. Please uninstall my mod before installing this user interface mod Smile

@Altiris - A permanent trade button would be perfect. Would you be able to fit in the top bar between the population and resource panel buttons? I'm thinking that moving the resource panel and metro panel buttons to the right would make enough space for the trade button.

I think you might need to post a "temporarily incompatible" mod list on the descriptor page.

@user - Good to know. I was actually using the orientation mod with UIM without problems.

In the "Rail, Air and Sea" mini-menu could you explain the difference between:
"Public transport" compared to"Metro Lines" and "Rail Lines"
and "Inter-city" compared to "Air Ways" and "Water Ways"

What is "Private Transport" and will it get a different icon? Maybe something like a limo or leopard tank?

Other notes:

The highway bridge still shows up with the regular roads.

There's nothing listed under "Blueprints" in "Decorations" but Big Ben and the Pyramid Thing (Chitez Itza?) show up under "Landmarks" in the same menu.

I am getting some lag when accessing the new menus.

I'm assuming that "Leisure" roads will be pretty much useless for anything other than making leisure areas look pretty. From a transporting view anyways.
